 It is adapted from Lee Se-in's 2007 novel of the same name about a furniture designer, Park Kae-in, who lives together with architect Jeon Jin-ho under the mistaken assumption that he's gay.

 It aired on MBC from March 31 to May 20, 2010 on Wednesdays and Thursdays at 21:55 (KST) time slot for 16 episodes.





Park Ke-in (Son Ye-Jin) Kindness, impulsiveness and chaos are a part of her personal habits. She is a lazy girl. She is an architect and the daughter of the famous architect Park Chul-Han. After her ex-boyfriend throws her out, she easily decides not to open up for love again.

She lives in a renovated Hanok house in Sangoje (meaning "a place for mutual love"). (Traditional Korean house), designed by her father (Kang Shin-il), a well-known and isolated architectural professor. As an independent furniture designer she strives to produce successful products and constantly strives to impress her father with her works.

Her longtime boyfriend Han Chong-riul (Kim Ji-sek) breaks up with her. Han Chong-riul is Jeon Jin-ho's rival and Ke-in's ex-boyfriend. Although he initially left K-in for her friend In-hee, he later rekindles his feelings for K-in. In-hee is a greedy woman. Have multiple lovers and treat them as people who can share.


Although Kei-in has been best friend for ten years, she betrays him and falls in love with Chang-riul. Later, In-hee falls for Jin-ho and tries to steal him from Ke-in. Jeon Jin-ho is an architect who is eager to keep his small company afloat. He travels to Sangoje to study it for his next project.
 
Being tidy and organized, he can't stand Kay's lifestyle and tries to make her a better version once she agrees to it. Just to know that she is getting married to Chang-riul. And that the two of them see each other behind her for a while. After she finally comes face to face with them, the wedding becomes chaotic and void.
 
Ke-in is upset and determined never to get a chance to fall in love again. Meanwhile, in order to keep his small company afloat, architect Jeon Jin-ho, Chong-riul's father Chong-riul's father was originally an employee under Jin-ho's father and he stole the company. In order for the Dam Art Center project to succeed, a way to find out more about the temporary theme of the Jin-Hota project must be explored, which has never been open to the public.
 
Jin-ho decides to rent a part of Sangoje to enter the house and K-in rents the place believing that he is gay due to misunderstandings in their previous encounters. After learning the reason for his approval, Jin-ho decides to leave Sango so as not to be further misunderstood, but is stopped by his aide, Noh Sang-jun.
 Once they start living together, Jin-ho tells Kai that she is miserable only because of the lack of harmony between herself and her personality. He then encourages her, who is confident and passionate, to help her transform into a better version of herself. In the midst of evolution and hidden truths, Kei-in and Jin-ho begin to develop feelings for each other.Impressed with Jin-ho's presentation, DAC director Choi Do-bin (encourages him to support the project. Choi Do-bin is the director of the damn project.

He discovers that Kay's ideas are creative and hires her to design an entertainment center for children. Do-Bin, a homosexual, is then attracted to Jin-ho, which puts Jin-ho in a tight spot.

What happens when a man who pretends to be gay and a woman who thinks he is gay develop feelings for each other?





International Broadcasting

The series was moderately popular in Korea and its foreign rights were sold to the Philippines, Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong and Thailand. The series aired on the cable channel KNTV from March 31, 2010 in Japan and aired on TBS from February 16, 2012. Was broadcast on.

The series aired on ABS-CBN in the Philippines from November 8, 2010 to January 7, 2011 under the title Perfect Match.
It aired in Mandarin on 8TV Malaysia and NTV7 with Malay subtitles.
